For the past few weeks I’ve cultivating a rather bad habit…
During the week, I track and eat well, and then on the weekends, I fall apart! I don’t go completely crazy, but I overeat, and there’s definitely no tracking.
At my last few weigh-ins I’ve lost really low numbers. Last week it was 1 pound, and the week before that it was .6…I know I can do better if I just get a hold of my weekends!
I really don’t have a problem with indulging now and them, but when it becomes a habit that’s a problem. One day of indulging suddenly turns into two days, and then a week, and then suddenly I’m right back where I started…Sitting on the couch watching The Simpsons and eating 2 large McDonald’s french fries, and a party sized bag of M&M’s!
We do NOT want to go back there.
I feel like I’m at a fork in the road. I can choose to head in the direction of good habits, or down the road of bad habits. I can’t stand here in the middle anymore…
Tonight’s Dinner
Butternut Squash = 0 points
Asparagus = 0 points
Tofu = 5 points
1 tbsp Sesame Oil = 3 points
2 tbsp Soy Sauce = 0 points
1 tsp Dijon Mustard = 0 points
2 tbsp Chickpea Flour = 1 point
Meal Total = 9 points
I tried something new with my tofu tonight, and it turned out really good! After draining my tofu, I marinated it in a mixture of soy sauce, sesame oil, and dijon mustard. Next I dredged it with about 2 tbsp of flour. Then I sauteed it for about 5 minutes on each side, and then finished it off in the oven for about 6-7 minutes…
